Built around Durham's clay soil and Piedmont climate
Durham’s red clay compacts easily and drains slowly, which is why we schedule aeration ahead of fall overseeding and grade beds to move water away from foundations. Warm, humid summers push weed and fungus pressure higher than in drier climates, so our fertilization and weed control programs are timed to the Piedmont growing season rather than a generic calendar.
